Setting up Jimi JC181/JC182/JC450/JC451/JC371

To connect Jimi dash cameras (JC181, JC182, JC450, JC451, JC371) to the PILOT server and start sending data and video, you need to send a few commands.
Commands can be sent to the device via SMS or through a remote management server (depending on the device settings).
Below are example commands for connecting to the PILOT server.

1. Server setup

SERVER,video.pilot-gps.com,6608,NA,NA,NA,NA#
This command tells the device where to send the data:
  • video.pilot-gps.com — PILOT server
  • 6608 — server port
  • NA — write NA if the field has no value (empty fields must be filled with NA).

2. APN setup

APN,internet,,,,,,,,,mtn,,mtn,,,,,,,
This command configures the SIM card access point so the device can connect to the internet:
  • internet — APN name
  • mtn — login
  • mtn — password

3. Device ID setup

BCD,1#
This command defines which identifier the device will use:
  • 1 = last 12 digits of the IMEI

4. Time zone setup

TIMEZONE,±hh:mm
This command sets the device time zone so that event times match local time on the server.
Example for Moscow time UTC+03:00: TIMEZONE,+03:00

5. Reboot the device

REBOOT
After entering all commands, reboot the device to apply the new settings.
