Tire templates

Tire templates allow you to save the axle and tire layout of one object and apply it to other objects. Use templates when several vehicles have the same axle and wheel configuration.
You can open templates from the object menu on the Tires tab. To do this, right-click the object and select Template.
Before creating a template, axles and tires must already be added to the object. If there is no tire data for the object, the system will show an error message.

To create a new template:

1. Open the object menu and click Templates
2. In the Tires template window, click Create new
3. Enter the template name
4. If needed, specify the make, model, and modification
5. Click Save
The Name field is required. The Make, Model, and Modification fields can be left empty.

To apply a template to an object:

1. Open the menu of the object to which you want to apply the template
2. Select the required template from the list
3. Click Use
After the template is applied, the system replaces the current axle and tire layout of the object with the data from the selected template.
If axles and tires were already configured for the object, they will be deleted and replaced with the template data.
If the template is no longer needed, select it from the list and click Delete.
